Loran worked from home, which was nice. He was able to get Santa updates all morning since I was tracking him on NORAD's Santa site.
We went to church mid-day and Ella, as always, enjoyed her time in Kid-O-Deo. Afterwards, Ella sacked out in the car on the way to her Grandma Mary and Grandpa Brad's house. Great Grandma and Grandpa S and Chelsey were also there.
The Yule Log was burning on TV, the Chinese food was ready, and all was right in the world.
Ella was a little ham during dinner, chattering away. She enjoyed gift opening. Still didn't open anything on her own.
As the night wound down, we got ready for bed. We stayed the night since we had to get to Great Grandma and Grandpa's in the morning. Ella was dressed in warm pajamas and we took a few pictures of her in a giant stocking.
The next morning, we were up early and made banana pancakes and Loran's famous hashbrowns. Santa found Ella at her temporary house for the night (luckily, we'd brought our stockings to put out at the fireplace!) and Ella got a new ball, slinky, book and fruit treats from Santa. It was pretty exciting.
