Bell Museum or Ella Meets Taxidermy

Last weekend, we brought Ella to the Bell Museum on the U of M campus. Parking was half the adventure. Once we got there, it was actually a nice little museum.

We brought Ella to the touch room where there were all kinds of things for the kids to get into. Ella enjoyed watching the turtles and snakes (alive) and was a little unsure about petting the bear (not alive) and really liked touching all of the pelts (obviously, not alive).

Ella was too busy looking at the animals to take pictures.

Big kitty!

The pelts were her favorite. I was just relieved she didn't try to chew on them *shudder*

She also enjoyed all of the exhibits. I think she thinks everything is just a cat. Plus, she got to lounge in her stroller and eat crackers and drink milk during part of the museum - and that makes anything awesome!
