This Monday, Ella was a participant in the Mahtomedi Memorial Day parade. She acquired this civic responsibility on account of her attendance at Early Childhood Family Education.
It would be hard to call the assembled ECFE/Tiny Tot Preschool group a precision marching team. At best, it was a number of strollers and tiny-kid-bikes moving down the street in general forward motion, with spacing and speed determined entirely at random.
However, it was very nice to recognize a few people along the way and to see a small town come out to see a parade.
Our route was this challenging 0.7mi. A good first parade.
