Saturday was an Ella and Daddy day as I went to scrapbook with friends all day. Ella got to see Nana and Papa and Uncle Nathan and from what I hear, was a good girl. Loran even bought her a winter coat since her other coat is still a little large. The new coat is so cute!

Sunday we went down to Mankato to visit Chelsey and see her apartment. The drive was spectacular with all of the beautiful trees. The weather was perfect. After bumming around at Chelsey's we decided to go to a nearby park that has a waterfall and hopefully get a good Christmas card photo. We found out the falls were dry so we opted not to pay the state park fee and drove around looking for another park.
We came upon Land of Memories park which Chelsey told us was a bit sketchy, but we decided to check it out anyway. Turns out, the park was hopping with kids playing Frisbee golf and wasn't scary like predicted. We ended up taking a lot of fun pictures.
After a stop back at the apartment where Ella charmed Chelsey's roommates with her crazy antics, we went to dinner and a really authentic Mexican restaurant that was just amazingly good. Ella was a good diner, despite gnawing on the table most of the time.
We rolled in around 9:30 and everyone got ready for bed to start the week.
Ella is now 10 months old! WOW! She celebrated yesterday by being loud and shrieking, for fun!

Your pictures at the park turned out great! I love the video...it sounds like she is imitating the bird..or vice versa?
Whoever took the pictures at the park should be a professional! They turned out absolutely amazing!!! I can't believe how big Ella is getting. We miss you and hope to see you soon. Lets have a girls dinner date in November.
