Here are a few crazy pictures taken in this New Year.
Ella likes to move around her crib and lay sideways, now she's too tall (having grown 11.5 inches in a year will do that) so now her feet poke out!
We took Ella sledding for the first time on Saturday. We got a few smiles from her. Of course, while the air was decent at 25 degrees, the wind wasn't. We made it to the end of the street to the lake, Loran pulled Ella down the less steep part of the hill toward the lake, then the wind coming across the lake was too much, so we walked back.
Her snowsuit is a bit big - especially in the arms. Her hands end somewhere around the snowsuits elbow. The dragging mittens just add to the hilarity!
Ella's already starting bad habits with her feet on the table.
Ella and her rice. The kid loves rice - she gets mad when it fall out of her fingers and then commands revenge from the rest of the rice on the tray by pounding it and swiping it around her tray. She finds it weird when it's stuck to her fingers.
We're trying to move to a one nap schedule. Rather than have a late morning 45 min nap and a 45 min late afternoon nap, we're finding that a 2 hour nap after lunch is so much more accommodating. Ella is having a hard time making it through lunch though. She's starts strong, but about 15 minutes into lunch, this is what happens. She's a work in process.
