Crawling Through Spring

Ella's therapists continue to be impressed by her progress. I am too. She's starting to think about pulling up, I'm sure it's only a matter of time. She's really moving around the house now. We actually have to use baby gates and door hooks to keep her safe. In PT, she was even introduced to the idea of going up and down stairs this week. Ella still has no interest in stairs, which is fine by me!


I had to get a picture of our house in bloom for spring, but noticed I had a little something extra in the picture!



Also, I found out one of my BFFs is having a girl, and Ella seems quite happy by this news. During breakfast, she kept clapping and saying girl! I got a little video of it. It's in there, amongst her other chitter-chatter.

This weekend, we have to get some packing done for Rome. We'll be there in less than a week. It doesn't even seem imaginable. I'm more excited about the dishwasher we're getting tonight. To me, that is a dream!

It's a loon cam. We make it full screen and Ella loves watching that loon sit on its eggs. She yells "DUCK" when she sees it, then shoves another piece of pancake in her mouth.
