The Results Are In

Ella's doctor called yesterday, basically to say she was confused by the notes about Ella's MRI and wanted to further follow-up with a neurologist to see what it meant. But, from what she'd seen, there weren't any problems.

Today, Ella's doctor called back to tell us that Ella has a perfectly normal brain! Yay! We'll still meet with the neurologist to talk about what we've been doing with Ella and what we can do further - but there are no problems inside her head!

Ella seems to have kicked her little cold too. She had a fever last night, but this morning was fever and symptom free. No runny nose or glassy eyes. It may have been the soothing bath we gave her last night, which she decided she liked to eat bubbles, so would go face first into them. Creating, of course, the bubble beard.
And then...I went to get her up from nap - and she was STANDING in her crib! I've dreamed of this day for months! To walk in and see my baby standing in her crib!!

And to make everything more fun, Loran's boss gave him a giant lion stuffed animal for Ella. So now, we have a new source of entertainment as Ella rides the lion and body slams it. She loves it!
