Ella crowns Loran an official boat captain...however, the way she steadies herself is the most hilarious.
While Loran was learning how to not tip a sailboat, I was teaching Ella a trade...pick up food from ground, knock on door, deliver pizza...
And some random images of our weekend. Ella likes to talk on her cell phone...but often tells me it needs new batteries. When I ask who she's talking to, it's usually "Gramma". Ella's been mostly nice to her sister this weekend, even playing some peekaboo with her. What you can't see in these endearing photos are the timeouts Ella earned for hitting Lily with either toys or hands. In fact, Ella even walks around muttering the phrase "we don't throw toys". Luckily, Lillian is a tough girl. In fact, she's very close to rolling from her back to her tummy. And she's already mastered tummy to back. She's our athlete. Ella's the brains having mastered: counting, ABC's, colors, the first 20 elements of the periodic table and she's got most of Linnaean classification down: kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, tribe, genus, species (which was supposed to be Lily's super nerdy thing Loran teaches her, but Ella picked it up indirectly)) I'm sure Lily will catch up.

No tribe. Just 7 layers beginning at Kingdom.

"We don't throw toys." I laughed out loud.
In the pic of her talking on the phone, Ella bears a marked resemblance to fashionista, Suri Cruise. That's her celeb look-alike.
Also, LOVE the new blog background. It's fun and fabulous, like your writing style.
