Our house was Boo’ed this weekend. I was gone all weekend at a scrapbooking retreat, but Loran and the girls saved the treat bag until I got home to open. It’s a fun little neighborhood thing where someone anonymously leaves a Halloween treat at your door and you then have to do the same to two neighbors. You hang a sign in your door to indicate you’ve already been boo’ed. We don’t know who our boo-er is, but their treat bag was very fun! Ella loved it. She received a glow wand and we’ve told her she can open it on Halloween for Trick or Treating. She carries it around calling it her “Trick or Treat” and even had to bring it to dinner so it could sit with her.
Lily is just happy to be included. She was able to try on Ella’s Halloween headband that was also in the bag and was just a little ham doing it. Our bag sure was nice and it sure is fun to pass on the fun to other neighbors!
While I was gone four days, it seems like Ella’s language grew even more and Lily has become increasingly mobile. She is army crawling all over the place and actually followed me out of the room yesterday. She also learned how to move from crawling to sitting. And last week, she taught herself how to clap. Growing by leaps and bounds!
