Drum Roll Please…

Every year in town, Santa visits and does free photos for all of the little children, and really…anyone who wants a photo. Then, the local drugstore develops your photo and gives you a free 4X6. This is awesome in all kinds of ways. But, because of the blizzard last weekend, only a few children saw Santa last Saturday and everyone went this Saturday. Santa was scheduled to stay until 2. He’s a busy guy and had an engagement at 3. We arrived around 1:30 thinking we’d be golden. Prior years, we’d walked in, waited a maximum of five minutes and were on our way to go see the horses pulling carriages around town. This year, we walked in and were greeted by a huge line. And were told that we may not get to see Santa. But, we tried. Our little girls were so patient and waited so nicely in the thrilling environment of a paint/carpet store. As the clock approached 2, we were getting a little saddened that we were going to miss Santa. But, they cut the line off at the family behind us and Santa agreed to stay a little past 2! What a guy!! Ella was very excited to see Santa this year. She really seems to understand Santa. Then our moment came, and behold…
