Lily started school in September at the ripe old age of 2 1/2 at Garden of Hope Montessori. Today, she finishes that first year 1,196 miles away at Cedars Montessori. What a big year it has been for such a little (but big spirited!) girl. In the last year, she’s grown taller, expanded her vocabulary, picked up a love for knock-knock jokes, and continues to love music, art and dancing.
First Day/Last Day
Lily’s favorite days at school are the days that involve music class with Annie B. She has a best friend, another three year old girl named Ashlyn –they do everything together.
The artwork that Lily creates is exquisite for a three year old. She really likes drawing our family, and has started adorning each person with a crown. We also seem to stand in the rain a lot, because it’s fun to make dots.
What a fun, exciting, full-of-change year it has been. I’m excited to spend the summer with our little firecracker, Lilypad!
