Big Winner!

Last night, we attended our first of many 3M family picnics. It was a great family night with bounce castles, Velcro walls, henna painting, rock wall, family pictures, Guitar Hero, food, drinks, more food, more drinks and prizes! Everyone was a winner - at least in the child categories. Ella won her first prize and of all of the age 0-2 prizes, I think this was meant for her! It's so soft and plays quite a few songs and glows. So cute!





In keeping with his streak of winning grand prizes in August, Loran won the iPod Nano. Which, he offered to me since I don't have an iPod! That's pretty neat, and generous! Now I have to go find my many disks of MP3s - I spent much time downloading music in college while I was "studying". Now I'll have to get the chip for my Nikes to track my running!

Also, new as of last night, Ella pivoted on her belly. She was having tummy time, like so many other nights, but eventually she moved herself 90 degrees to face another direction. She's never done that before on her stomach, only on her back. Movement will happen soon, I think.
