Christmas Festivities

We're trying hard to make the holidays special for Ella this year. It seems to be the first year she actually cares.

- Tortured photo with Santa - check
- Visit the Macy's 8th Floor display - check
- Drive around to see Christmas lights - check
- Bake Christmas cookies - check
- Eat Christmas cookies - check
- Enjoy the snow - check
- Rearrange the ornaments on the tree and hide some in Ella's room - check
- Cuddle under warm blankets and read - check

Ella will sometimes indulge me and eat a cookie.

Frosty, snowy morning

Visiting the horse during carriage rides downtown

Ella now follows us around the house with one of three books: The Snowy Day, Little Pea or Chicka Chicka Boom Boom while she repeats over and over..."re, re, re" meaning - "stop what you're doing RIGHT NOW and read me this book or I'm going to throw myself on the floor and scream." It's quite charming. She also calls said books, 'now (pron: know), pea and E (because all alphabet letters are Es to her.

She actually enjoyed seeing the Macy's display...especially since Aunt Chelsey kept her supplied with Cheerios through the night.
