I figure if CBS and William Shatner can ride the coattails of a best selling book and former blog…I sure as can too!
Every day on our drive home, I make a point to drive past the fountain in town. Ella loves it, she loves that she can see it from the road and likes to announce anytime we are in the vicinity of it. Today, we drove by and it wasn’t on. I tried to explain to Ella that it was turned off and the city turns it off when it starts to get cold out.
Ella solved the problem in her toddler brain when she pondered the problem and spouted the solution as such: “Fountain off? Needs new batteries!”
How do you not drive off the road attempting to pinch her cheeks out of sheer adorability?

That's great! Jack is the same way, any time something is broken or off he announces it needs new batteries! Where he got that, I have no clue!
