I Choo-Choo-Choose You

Last weekend, Ella had the thrill of attending her first “school-friend” birthday party. There have been a couple we have politely declined because they were held at the epic play center, Pump-It-Up. While I would personally love a couple hours to romp through the giant inflatables, Ella has yet to discover the sheer joy of hopping in a bounce house. Her loss. When they have the castle up at gymnastics, Ella’s perfectly content to work on her somersaults outside the castle while her class bounces away – sometimes into one another. Perhaps Ella’s pretty smart and just protecting her noggin’s future.

This party, however, was at a railroad museum. Her friend, J, is quite the train fanatic. Loran took her right after gymnastics and they were treated to lunch and cake along with a short train ride. Ella really enjoyed it and was telling me all about it. It also helps that many of her classmates were there and were very excited to see her! Our baby’s growing up!

Do you see the hand holding going on? This particular little guy always holds Ella’s hand. He’s three years older, but looks out for my girl!
