Lily’s favorite song is “Roar” by Katy Perry. She likes it on several levels, for one, it’s about roaring, in mentions tigers, and champions (Lily’s nickname). It’s as if Katy Perry wrote the song for Lily…a Minnetexan three year old.
As we were making our way toward Houston, I caught her singing on her own, no radio. She was also systematically emptying our tissue box (hence the stop later on the trip for more), so I had to stop the recording and intercede before things got too wasteful.
